After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors Querido's Gabriel Santo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. José Luis Chilavert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tadeo Cordairo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After 9 minutes, Yusuf Halland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors Querido and the El Pincha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Boca Juniors Querido got a freekick which was hit by Yusuf Halland. Nereo Mero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Boca Juniors Querido fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Kennet Berg's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors Querido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kennet Berg helped the player get up and apologised. Israel Paio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Luis Chilavert came out and tried to block the shot, but Israel Paio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. If Israel Paio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Paio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Mikelar got free with José Luis Chilavert in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors Querido's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Paio came free, but José Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, El Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Halland came free, but Evelio Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Steve Hyuga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evelio Hanni was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. José Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Cordairo in the 28th minute of the match. Tadeo Cordairo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, Boca Juniors Querido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Argina to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yusuf Halland made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Paio in the 57th minute of play forced Boca Juniors Querido's goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Boca Juniors Querido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Halland to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Eulalio Argina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Hanni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yusuf Halland in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors Querido's Yusuf Halland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Evelio Hanni. That made the score 2-3 after 77 minutes of play. Yusuf Halland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Evelio Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Yusuf Halland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Tadeo Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Luis Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Boca Juniors Querido had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
