In the 4th minute of the match Paulino Sugar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Gaufred skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Diana's Eustaquio Ireno got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th match minute, Diana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Aires to maneuver through the defense. When Victorino Ourente came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Ourente couldn't finish the play. Urbano Vidal's late challenge caught a LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Urbano Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB's Paulino Sugar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Celso Gaufred but with some difficulty. LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB's Paulino Sugar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Victorino Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Celso Gaufred tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alexandre Marinho hit a great ball. Paulino Sugar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celso Gaufred came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulino Sugar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Jokin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Jokin in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Bartolome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Victorino Ourente came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Ourente couldn't finish the play. If Paulino Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Diana's Nestor Jokin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Bartolome made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 83 minutes into the match, Paulino Sugar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Gaufred. Diana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Sugar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 87th match minute, LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Jokin might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Bartolome. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Jokin ran back to his position shaking his head. Nestor Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Bartolome having to interfere. There was no doubt that LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB were the better team. LOS NINJAS FUTBOL CLUB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
