Spectators: 7294 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) Valar Morghulis's Ricardo Santikurtz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Santikurtz in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teobaldo Sandalio saved El Cielo por Asalto from getting behind. Lisandro Panpili let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 8th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. When Lisandro Panpili came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the El Cielo por Asalto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Panpili couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Raebert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jorge Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 20 in the game by Lisandro Panpili from a close distance when the talented Jorge Norino managed to make a qualified save. Valar Morghulis's players were relieved. Ricardo Santikurtz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lisandro Panpili struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jorge Norino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Cielo por Asalto. Jorge Norino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Panpili in the 25th minute of the match. Teobaldo Sandalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Acevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Panpili received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Norino came out and tried to block the shot, but Lisandro Panpili slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. When Fulgencio Raebert fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Cielo por Asalto's protests and gave Fulgencio Raebert a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes El Cielo por Asalto got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Raebert. Santos Acevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Sandalio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Acevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Lino Montrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lisandro Panpili who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Jorge Norino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Valar Morghulis's goalkeeper Jorge Norino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Panpili. If Ricardo Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in El Cielo por Asalto's zone, Anacleto Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Sandalio came out of the goal and Anacleto Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Panpili to make the kick off. Lisandro Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jorge Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Sandalio made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Hipolito Romano sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Panpili in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Norino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Santikurtz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobaldo Sandalio was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Ricardo Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, El Cielo por Asalto's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Santikurtz came free, but Teobaldo Sandalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Cleto Grabiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Ricardo Santikurtz lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Teobaldo Sandalio. In the 79th minute Ricardo Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Sandalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Santikurtz in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Valar Morghulis booed when El Cielo por Asalto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Julio Leobardo in the 95th minute really tested Teobaldo Sandalio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. There was no doubt that El Cielo por Asalto were the better team. El Cielo por Asalto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
