The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, Haedo FC's Hector Ferdinand made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Eguntsenti was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Tino during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Haedo FC's Humberto Corderro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Haedo FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Haedo FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bartolo Nel hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Haedo FC's goalkeeper Humberto Corderro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Hector Ferdinand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Eguntsenti. Comechingones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Ferdinand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bartolo Nel took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Eguntsenti. Freddy Eguntsenti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Comechingones's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Caradaro came free, but Freddy Eguntsenti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Bartolo Nel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haedo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comechingones the free kick. In the 44th minute Bartolo Nel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Eguntsenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Eguntsenti having to interfere. The wind increased when Bartolo Nel made the kick off in the second half. Freddy Eguntsenti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartolo Nel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. Vicente Caradaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Haedo FC's Vicente Caradaro got a free kick in the 61st minute. Freddy Eguntsenti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Freddy Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Comechingones getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hector Paez hit a great ball. Bartolo Nel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Haedo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Mariano Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Ferdinand struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Freddy Eguntsenti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haedo FC. Humberto Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Romano in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Bartolo Nel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Freddy Eguntsenti, 0-5. Bartolo Nel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddy Eguntsenti having to make a save. Haedo FC's Vinicio Pueblo was substituted for Vicente Caradaro. After a defensive mix-up in Comechingones's zone, Ciriaco Iztal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Ciriaco Iztal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
