In the 63rd minute of the match Modesto Bidari sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Candido Burni skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lisandro Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comechingones's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Romano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Comechingones's zone, Tomas Manny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Tomas Manny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Dep.Cristal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Comechingones throughout the match.
