Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chamaicó's Leandro Artizar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celestino Heriberto kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Vinicio Thomas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dep.Cristal's Candido Burni didn't even have to move. Dep.Cristal's Remigio Sendoa got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Leandro Artizar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Candido Burni. The goal made the score 1-0. Placido Diagur's late challenge caught a Chamaicó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Diagur helped the player get up and apologised. Faustino Reno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Sendoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute, Maximo Azibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Dep.Cristal getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Remigio Sendoa hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Chamaicó's Vinicio Thomas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Dep.Cristal's Candido Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Artizar in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Sendoa to make the kick off. Leandro Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Burni having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Hugo Fe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chamaicó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dep.Cristal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chamaicó's Hugo Fe got a free kick in the 56th minute. Chamaicó's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Remigio Sendoa scored to the left of an out of position Faustino Reno, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Thomas in the 69th minute of play forced Dep.Cristal's goalkeeper Candido Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Chamaicó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Thomas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Anastasio Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamaicó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Abechuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Chamaicó booed when Dep.Cristal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Diagur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chamaicó walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
