Severo Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Victoriano Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Duraznito's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Adrio came free, but Victoriano Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Etxeberri's late challenge caught a Egaña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elpidio Etxeberri helped the player get up and apologised. Elpidio Etxeberri hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Alejandro Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Alejandro Estebano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duraznito's Victoriano Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Estebano in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Duraznito getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kaare Carlberg hit a great ball. Cristobal Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Octavio Oinatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egaña's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duraznito the free kick. Victoriano Quiroga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Asur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Estebano struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Victoriano Quiroga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egaña. After having played for 29 minutes, Severo Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egaña's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Alejandro Estebano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duraznito's Victoriano Quiroga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Burutzagi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Aguilera in the 35th minute of the match. Emilio Burutzagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Raymond in the 38th minute of play. Alejandro Estebano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Victoriano Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Baldomero Adrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Quiroga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Maximiliano Romildo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severo Asur was the one to do the kick off. Severo Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Suero in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Egaña got a corner. Duraznito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgard Hermon ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Severo Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egaña's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Asur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Quiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Severo Asur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Severo Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egaña's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Asur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Quiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Urbano Aguilera came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Duraznito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Aguilera couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Quiroga made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Alejandro Estebano sent off a good shot on target. Severo Asur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Quiroga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Kaare Carlberg hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Alejandro Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoriano Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Asur in the 83rd minute of play. Alejandro Estebano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Victoriano Quiroga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Urbano Aguilera scored 1-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Burutzagi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duraznito were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
