Egaña's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Medardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Egaña players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Claro were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Severo Asur made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Asur in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severo Asur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Oidor having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Egaña got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Suero. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Medardo got free with Emilio Burutzagi in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisito Oidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Asur's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Egaña's Emilio Burutzagi got control of the ball when Omar Medardo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
