To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Mateo struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Gilberto Maurin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legendarios. Zeledon Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Legendarios's goalkeeper Andrzej Majewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Damario. When Artemio Handi came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Legendarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Handi couldn't finish the play. Cristo Tabb charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Tabb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, OLAYON FC CDE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Tabb to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Gualterio Damario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OLAYON FC CDE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legendarios the free kick. The supporters of Legendarios booed when OLAYON FC CDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Legendarios's Zeledon Mateo in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OLAYON FC CDE's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Cristo Tabb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OLAYON FC CDE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Tabb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Esteve Barea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrzej Majewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Mateo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Maurin. Gilberto Maurin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Mateo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. OLAYON FC CDE's Gualterio Damario managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dionisio Abar in the 51 minute of the game. Uriel Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Lazcano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Legendarios's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 59 minutes into the match, OLAYON FC CDE's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Lazcano came free, but Gilberto Maurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Zeledon Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Mateo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gilberto Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zeledon Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to OLAYON FC CDE getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gualterio Damario hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Cristo Tabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of OLAYON FC CDE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Legendarios:s goal. When Esteve Barea came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the OLAYON FC CDE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Barea couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Abar made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arturo Lazcano. OLAYON FC CDE's Gilberto Maurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Mateo in the 93rd minute of play. Legendarios's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
