GALAXY VICTORY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Segundo Bingen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 16 minutes into the game, Joaquin Bermudez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melincué's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. GALAXY VICTORY the free kick. After 16 played minutes Melincué got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Bermudez. 20 minutes into the match, C.A. GALAXY VICTORY's goalkeeper Emanuel Cristofol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Bingen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Ederono in the 27th minute of play forced Melincué's goalkeeper Wincent Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincent Zajonc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Ederono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. GALAXY VICTORY's Emanuel Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Bermudez in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Victoriano Ederono made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to C.A. GALAXY VICTORY getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Victor Goyo hit a great ball. C.A. GALAXY VICTORY were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
