The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Emilio Burutzagi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Barea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Burutzagi having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Rosario during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Augusto Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Severo Asur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Adrio took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Maurin. Gilberto Maurin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Egaña's Augusto Rosario got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Augusto Rosario off the ground. In the 40th match minute, Egaña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Rosario to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Suero in the 46th minute of play forced OLAYON FC CDE's goalkeeper Gilberto Maurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The OLAYON FC CDE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Egaña were winning 0-2.

OLAYON FC CDE's Silvano Niva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgard Hermon in the 57 minute of the game. If Alejandro Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Estebano got free with Gilberto Maurin in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Egaña booed when OLAYON FC CDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Barea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Alejandro Estebano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gilberto Maurin. When Severo Asur fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egaña's protests and gave Severo Asur a yellow card for diving instead. Severo Asur hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Teofilo Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. OLAYON FC CDE's Gilberto Maurin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save OLAYON FC CDE from getting a goal against them. Egaña's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
