The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaspar Matia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Cordeara having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Chañarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Cordarrel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Chañarense booed when La Rosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Toro charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Toro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeronimo Toro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chañarense booed when La Rosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Hulberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Macario, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Angelino Cordeara made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Gaspar Matia sent off a good shot on target. Leonel Olo's late challenge caught a Chañarense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Olo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chañarense booed when La Rosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Odol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Matia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angelino Cordeara firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Chañarense's Angelino Cordeara got control of the ball when Jeronimo Toro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonatan Chano hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, La Rosa FC's Jeronimo Toro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Chañarense's zone, Jeronimo Toro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Cordeara came out of the goal and Jeronimo Toro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chañarense's goalkeeper Angelino Cordeara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaspar Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Angelino Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mateo Quin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chañarense's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Quin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Eguntsenti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelino Cordeara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Toro's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Chañarense's Domingo Macario got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jeronimo Toro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelino Cordeara having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Toro in the 88th minute of play forced Chañarense's goalkeeper Angelino Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Matia struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Angelino Cordeara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Rosa FC. When Jeronimo Toro came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the La Rosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Toro couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that La Rosa FC were the better team. La Rosa FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
