Moises Salvidor was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Literarios Borgeanos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of OPERYS F.C:s goal. Literarios Borgeanos FC:s Patricio Rius showed great skill when he stopped Vicente Bingen:s penalty. Patricio Rius made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Vinicio Perico sent off a good shot on target. Silvio Arotza might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justino Derwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvio Arotza ran back to his position shaking his head. Patricio Rius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Perico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Literarios Borgeanos FC's goalkeeper Patricio Rius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Bingen. Alejandro Endura struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Justino Derwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Literarios Borgeanos FC. Prudencio Lizbeth charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Lizbeth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Vinicio Perico managed to get in a good position for a shot. OPERYS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Perico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Rius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonides Munio to strike the kick off in the second half. Justino Derwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Endura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Rius came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by OPERYS F.C's Vinicio Perico. But to his dismay, Vinicio Perico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Alejandro Endura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Derwin having to make a save. In the 68th minute of the match, Silvio Arotza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Justino Derwin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alejandro Endura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Literarios Borgeanos FC made a substitution. Benjamin Agüero replaced Alejandro Endura. A collision led to OPERYS F.C getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Federico Regis hit a great ball. Literarios Borgeanos FC's Benjamin Agüero got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Derwin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Fe in the 85th minute. Patricio Rius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Perico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match Literarios Borgeanos FC got a corner. OPERYS F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvio Arotza ran over to the corner to take the kick. Literarios Borgeanos FC's Silvio Arotza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Justino Derwin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 93 minutes, Vinicio Perico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OPERYS F.C and the Literarios Borgeanos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Vinicio Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Agüeros short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Justino Derwin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
