Abel Tabby scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Cordeara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Prospero Cordarrel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chañarense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabildo the free kick. Felipe Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Quin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Maore during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cabildo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Natalio Maore hit a great ball. Chañarense were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Cabildo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingo Macario took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Domingo Macario got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felipe Chorache quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 23 minutes into the match, Prudencio Pereyra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Chorache. Cabildo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Pereyra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Chañarense's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Cristos came free, but Angelino Cordeara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Rafel during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cabildo booed when Chañarense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Tabby in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute Abel Tabby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Tabby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Angelino Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateo Quin to make the kick off. Chañarense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Abel Tabby scored to the left of an out of position Angelino Cordeara, making the score, 1-3. 75 minutes into the match, Chañarense's Prudencio Pereyra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Chorache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Chañarense's Angelino Cordeara got control of the ball when Maximiliano Cristos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domingo Macario charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Macario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chañarense fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Angelino Cordeara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Tabby in the 95th minute of the match. Cabildo's Abel Tabby got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
