Maggolo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Tabby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The score was now 0-2. 64 minutes into the match, Maggolo's goalkeeper Jonatan Lander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Alvarez. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Nicasio Alvarez took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jonatan Lander to make any attempt to save it. A sloppy throw-in by Saul Tximitx in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Maggolo's Baldomiro Lauaxeta. Maggolo's Jonatan Lander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Alvarez in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Quintana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonatan Lander. That made the score 0-4 in the 85 minute of play. Cabildo's Nicasio Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maggolo's Jonatan Lander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Tabby in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Nicasio Alvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cabildo getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Tomás Quintana hit a great ball. Cabildo played a much better game than Maggolo and deserved their victory. The Maggolo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
