Gogo Manilan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OPERYS F.C. The supporters of Argentina booed when OPERYS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, OPERYS F.C's Justino Derwin got control of the ball when Salvador Garaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Leonides Munio made a precise shot to the right of Gogo Manilan. Argentina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Leonides Munio's late challenge caught a Argentina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Munio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, OPERYS F.C's Leonides Munio got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Isidoro Fagondo lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Justino Derwin. If Luciano Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Diegotxe charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Diegotxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Argentina getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Donato Diegotxe hit a great ball. Clemente Conrao took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justino Derwin. OPERYS F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Isidoro Fagondo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Justino Derwin, 3-1. Justino Derwin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Garaona in the 43rd minute. Gogo Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Munio in the 46th minute of the match. Justino Derwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Isidoro Fagondo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Isidoro Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Derwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Vinicio Perico took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Gogo Manilan to make any attempt to save it. Argentina's Gogo Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Munio in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Garaona in the 65th minute of play forced OPERYS F.C's goalkeeper Justino Derwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Garaona in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justino Derwin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salvador Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Derwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Garaona in the 85th minute of play. Gogo Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Munio in the 89th minute of play. Justino Derwin came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentina's Isidoro Fagondo. But to his dismay, Isidoro Fagondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Many of OPERYS F.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. OPERYS F.C may have spent more time on the ball, but Argentina were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
