After a rather tough play, Paikín AFC's Geronimo Clementi got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Genaro Clemencin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Gorosti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Paikín AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Amor came free, but Mauro Gorosti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 62nd minute, Norberto Frascuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Paikín AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Leoiar to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Frascuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Gorosti having to interfere. Chaján AFCs's Norberto Frascuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Chaján AFCs booed when Paikín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Leoiar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
