Spectators: 7400 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saverio Afonso kicked off to start the match. Mauro Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Ionescu in the 3rd minute of play. When Deportivo Muñiz's Lucian Ionescu in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paikín AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Deportivo Muñiz's Quinto Pagès played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Afonso in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Frank Krasa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Muñiz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paikín AFC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Frank Krasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Deportivo Muñiz's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Afonso came free, but Quinto Pagès reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lucian Ionescu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Deportivo Muñiz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Ionescu couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Paikín AFC's zone, Edgard deconinck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Gorosti came out of the goal and Edgard deconinck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucian Ionescu sped through Paikín AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauro Gorosti. In the 20th minute, Lucian Ionescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Muñiz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Lucian Ionescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saverio Afonso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Deportivo Muñiz's Quinto Pagès proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Muñiz from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes Deportivo Muñiz got a freekick which was hit by Frank Krasa. After 34 minutes of play, Deportivo Muñiz's Lucian Ionescu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Gorosti was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucian Ionescu in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Gorosti saved Paikín AFC from getting behind. In the 47th minute Lucian Ionescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Gorosti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Elvio Presebal might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Gorosti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elvio Presebal ran back to his position shaking his head. Paikín AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Elvio Presebal scored to the left of an out of position Mauro Gorosti, making the score, 0-4. If Lucian Ionescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Saverio Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paikín AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Deportivo Muñiz fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Deportivo Muñiz's Lucian Ionescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Deportivo Muñiz made a substitution. Eriberto Mel replaced Bruno Vermudo. Saverio Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Mauro Gorosti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Ionescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucian Ionescu in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Gorosti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Guido Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lucian Ionescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Muñiz's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucian Ionescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Gorosti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvio Presebal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Mauro Gorosti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucian Ionescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Paikín AFC's zone, Frank Krasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Gorosti came out of the goal and Frank Krasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Presebal struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Mauro Gorosti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Muñiz. Deportivo Muñiz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
