In the 6th minute, Bruno Vermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Wilfredo Gustau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quinto Pagès showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgard deconinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucian Ionescu struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Constantino Leguizamón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Muñiz. 15 minutes into the match, Frank Krasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Constantino Leguizamón, 2-0. If Lucian Ionescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Lucian Ionescu sped through Boedo EP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Constantino Leguizamón. Deportivo Muñiz's Elvio Presebal got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucian Ionescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Leguizamón read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Deportivo Muñiz were awarded a corner. Lucian Ionescu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lucian Ionescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Constantino Leguizamón quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard shot 29 in the game by Lucian Ionescu from a close distance when the talented Constantino Leguizamón managed to make a qualified save. Boedo EP's players were relieved. If Gonzalo Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Leguizamón having to interfere. With his leg Constantino Leguizamón managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Deportivo Muñiz's Lucian Ionescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lucian Ionescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucian Ionescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Constantino Leguizamón skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lucian Ionescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Constantino Leguizamón when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Constantino Leguizamón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Ionescu in the 61st minute of play. Tadeo Huly's late challenge caught a Boedo EP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Huly helped the player get up and apologised. 63 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Muñiz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Quinto Pagès, was totally fooled by Boedo EP's Wilfredo Gustau, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Deportivo Muñiz's Eriberto Mel was substituted for Bruno Vermudo. In the 74th minute, Lucian Ionescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Muñiz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Tadeo Huly got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Deportivo Muñiz getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Tadeo Huly hit a great ball. Gonzalo Venerando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Tadeo Galeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Constantino Esquipula managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Muñiz's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Esquipula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Leguizamón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Boedo EP's zone, Kajetan von Egidy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Leguizamón came out of the goal and Kajetan von Egidy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Esquipula, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Quinto Pagès took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Deportivo Muñiz were the better team. Deportivo Muñiz's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
