The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Corrientes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ukukus FC:s goal. Gervasio Rutenio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erubiel Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dario Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Ukukus FC's goalkeeper Alberto Favila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Argenis. Ukukus FC's Gervasio Rutenio got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anibal Jaunzuria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Rutenio in the 27th minute of the match. Erasmo Argenis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Alberto Favila made a huge save. Erasmo Argeniss short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Alberto Favila to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 39th minute Erubiel Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Gervasio Rutenio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Jaunzuria was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 46th minute, Erasmo Argenis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Anibal Jaunzuria came out of the goal and Gervasio Rutenio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute of the match Anier Herensuge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anibal Jaunzuria skillfully saved the ball. Anibal Jaunzuria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Mero in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Corrientes's Dario Elizardo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Gervasio Rutenio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Anibal Jaunzuria made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Ukukus FC's Erubiel Mero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Jaunzuria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Lucas Machado fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corrientes's protests and gave Lucas Machado a yellow card for diving instead. 93 minutes into the match, Erubiel Mero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anibal Jaunzuria, 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ukukus FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
