The crowd rose to their feet as Corrientes's Erasmo Argenis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Sidoro. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Enzo Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Jaunzuria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Sidoro made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Erasmo Argenis sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Galeno to maneuver through the defense.
