Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celestino Camerino started the match with the kick off. Elordi AFC's Paulino Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Camerino in the 7th minute of play. Erasmo Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Paulino Berriotxoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Ishmael's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anibal Jaunzuria firmly grabbed it by the left post. Erasmo Argenis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Berriotxoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Argenis during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Corrientes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Argenis to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Ishmael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celestino Camerino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Celestino Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corrientes's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Camerino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Berriotxoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elordi AFC's Jorge Porfiro got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Porfiro to make the kick off. Jorge Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Jaunzuria having to interfere. Celso Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, Elordi AFC's Claudio Lorenz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anibal Jaunzuria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elordi AFC reached it. Paulino Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Camerino in the 58th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Erasmo Argenis put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paulino Berriotxoa. After having played for 62 minutes, Benigno Ishmael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elordi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benigno Ishmael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benigno Ishmael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Corrientes's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Ishmael came free, but Anibal Jaunzuria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match Elordi AFC got a corner. Corrientes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudio Lorenz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erasmo Argenis was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Erasmo Argenis hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Alberto Lonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Celestino Camerino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Benigno Ishmael came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Elordi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Ishmael couldn't finish the play. After 81 minutes, Eleuterio Restu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corrientes and the Elordi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Corrientes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Elordi AFC:s goal. Lucas Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Berriotxoa having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Celestino Camerino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulino Berriotxoa was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
