Hongo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amicha FC the free kick. Isaac Clis hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Weather took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hector Hodei. Hongo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Amicha FC's Aurelio Gartzea got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to Amicha FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mario Primo hit a great ball. A hard shot by Clemente Esquipula from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Abdullah Fırat's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hector Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Quentin in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Amicha FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maximo Aimar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Abdullah Fırat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Juan Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Hodei having to interfere. Hector Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Quentin in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Amicha FC booed when Hongo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Phelipe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdullah Fırat. Amicha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Maximo Aimar came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Hongo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Aimar couldn't finish the play. Maximo Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Aimar to make the kick off. Mario Primo's late challenge caught a Hongo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Primo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hongo FC booed when Amicha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Primo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdullah Fırat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Aimar in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Juan Quentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Hodei. Hongo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Quentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 60th match minute, Amicha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Primo to maneuver through the defense. After 64th play minutes Maximo Aimar shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Abdullah Fırat and just under the crossbar into goal. Saturnino Llin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Clis got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Hongo FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Isaac Clis hit a great ball. Juan Quentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hongo FC! Arnulfo Weather placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Juan Quentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Hodei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. Juan Quentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
