Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Celestino Camerino got the match started through his kick off. Lázaro Hibai hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Luciano Breckenfeld made a precise shot to the right of Anibal Jaunzuria. Corrientes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luciano Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Jaunzuria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabio Bergomi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Jaunzuria. Anibal Jaunzuria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Celso Etor had several of the Anguilan's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Tobias Txaran as he didn't even see the shot coming. Omar Federigo's late challenge caught a Corrientes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Federigo helped the player get up and apologised. Omar Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Camerino in the 34th minute of play forced Anguilan's goalkeeper Tobias Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Anguilan defense, Celestino Camerino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Txaran. The Anguilan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Txaran should have stopped the shot. In the 39th match minute, Corrientes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Herena to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Argenis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tobias Txaran made a huge save. Celestino Camerino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Corrientes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Bergomi was the one to do the kick off. Tobias Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Argenis in the 52nd minute of play. Fabio Bergomi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Txaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Argenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Corrientes's zone, Fabio Bergomi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Jaunzuria came out of the goal and Fabio Bergomi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestino Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Txaran having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Argenis in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Txaran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Bergomi's late challenge caught a Corrientes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Anguilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Bergomi to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Gartxot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anguilan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corrientes the free kick. A collision led to Anguilan getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leopoldo Gartxot hit a great ball. With a little luck, Corrientes's Anibal Jaunzuria got control of the ball when Luciano Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celestino Camerino scored 3-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Txaran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Dario Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Bergomi was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Anguilan getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fabio Bergomi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Camerino in the 88th minute of play forced Anguilan's goalkeeper Tobias Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Inocencio Osoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
