Maximiliano Bernal hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ruben Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Valerio Verdeces managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valerio Verdeces was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uriel Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Marco Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, D10S siempre presente's Marco Estefan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Francisco Marin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Bilbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Ignacio Iruinea took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Bilbo. Ruben Bilbo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ezequiel Pacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Iruinea made a kick off. Marco Estefan got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Igor Baudelio came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by CA River Plate's Valerio Verdeces. But to his dismay, Valerio Verdeces quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Igor Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerio Verdeces in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Iruinea in the 75th minute of play forced CA River Plate's goalkeeper Ruben Bilbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, D10S siempre presente's goal looked a bit too open when Valerio Verdeces came free, but Igor Baudelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Iruinea in the 79th minute of play. Valerio Verdeces's late challenge caught a D10S siempre presente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valerio Verdeces helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CA River Plate getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Valerio Verdeces hit a great ball. D10S siempre presente's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CA River Plate had won, even though D10S siempre presente had held more of the ball.
