Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herminio Firmin started the match with the kick off. Ruben Bilbo was a little too slow when Baldomero Seber got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th minute, Herminio Firmin made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Bilbo. CA River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Herminio Firmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Herminio Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 minutes, Silvano Mirande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA River Plate and the Chamacos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CA River Plate's Silvano Mirande got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ruben Bilbo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baldomero Seber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. Herminio Firmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valerio Verdeces in the 29th minute of play forced Chamacos's goalkeeper Maximo Hechter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Firmin scored 4-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruben Bilbo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Valerio Verdeces managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Valerio Verdeces was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Hechter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valerio Verdeces fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Hechter having to interfere. Ruben Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Seber in the 42nd minute of the match. If Hermengildo Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valerio Verdeces was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Bilbo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Chamacos's Herminio Firmin. But to his dismay, Herminio Firmin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Ruben Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Firmin in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Lucio Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Baldomero Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Bilbo having to interfere. Fernando Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Bilbo having to interfere. In the 78th minute of the game Fernando Fanuco made a throw-in which Herminio Firmin played forward. Ruben Bilbo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Seber's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Baldomero Seber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Herminio Firmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Bilbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Firmin in the 92nd minute of play. If Hermengildo Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chamacos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
