Fabio Bergomi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anguilan's Tobias Txaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Anguilan from getting a goal against them. Anguilan's Luciano Breckenfeld got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Bergomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Sauveur having to interfere. Fabio Bergomi took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Sauveur. Victoriano Sauveur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 27th minute of the match Omar Federigo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Sauveur skillfully saved the ball. Omar Federigo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Federigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Anguilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Federigo to maneuver through the defense. Astor Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Txaran having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Norberto Bixintxo made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Txaran. Anguilan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Luciano Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anguilan's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Sauveur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Anguilan getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Omar Federigo hit a great ball. Luciano Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Luciano Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Victoriano Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Anguilan's Igor Loreto got a free kick in the 56th minute. Luciano Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoriano Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Bergomi in the 70th minute of the match. Ambrosio Azevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victoriano Sauveur. Depredador FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Anguilan's Luciano Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Sauveur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Bergomi in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Sauveur saved Depredador FC from getting behind. In the last second Victoriano Sauveur throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fabio Bergomi in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 79 minutes into the game, Norberto Bixintxo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tobias Txaran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Depredador FC's zone, Luciano Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Sauveur came out of the goal and Luciano Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Depredador FC's goalkeeper Victoriano Sauveur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Anguilan's Fabio Bergomi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victoriano Sauveur. Victoriano Sauveur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. If Fabio Bergomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Depredador FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Anguilan had controlled the match.
