After a rather tough play, Cuipán's Honorato Evangelista got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Hipolito Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talleres FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Estebano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
