Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeronimo Porfirio started the match with the kick off. If Faustino Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cirilo Elia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataderos del Abuelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Elia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Raebert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Eate during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Mataderos del Abuelo got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Eate. Serafin Eate was shown his second yellow card after 19 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Serafin Eate hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Porfirio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Salvadore having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Elia during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Mataderos del Abuelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Elia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mataderos del Abuelo's zone, Jeronimo Porfirio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Salvadore came out of the goal and Jeronimo Porfirio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anastasio Eliazar's late challenge caught a Barrial FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Eliazar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Anastasio Eliazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Porfirio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Salvadore having to interfere. Jeronimo Porfirio struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mauro Salvadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrial FC. 36 minutes into the match, Mataderos del Abuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Porfirio came free, but Mauro Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Salvadore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. The goalkeeper, Mauro Salvadore, was totally fooled by Barrial FC's Edgard Milian, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faustino Stanislao to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jeronimo Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute Jeronimo Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mauro Salvadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Barrial FC booed when Mataderos del Abuelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Elia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Mataderos del Abuelo defense, Godfredo Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Salvadore. The Mataderos del Abuelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Salvadore should have stopped the shot. Mauro Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Porfirio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mataderos del Abuelo's Cirilo Elia got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfredo Franco scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Salvadore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Mataderos del Abuelo's zone, Jeronimo Porfirio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Salvadore came out of the goal and Jeronimo Porfirio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mataderos del Abuelo's Cirilo Elia got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Barrial FC's Edgard Milian broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Godfredo Franco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Salvadore. Mataderos del Abuelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Franco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Mauro Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Franco in the 88th minute of play forced Mataderos del Abuelo's goalkeeper Mauro Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5-0 became the score in the 91st minute when Jeronimo Porfirio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Godfredo Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mauro Salvadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrial FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
