In the 10th minute Anselmo Seguinus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Kuszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chateaubriand's Wincenty Kuszczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Cresitobalo in the 12th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, San Agustín's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Hori came free, but Christian Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chateaubriand booed when San Agustín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Vellito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Ovidio Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Agustín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chateaubriand the free kick. Ovidio Barros hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Teobaldo Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Arturo Cresitobalo sped through Chateaubriand's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wincenty Kuszczak. In the 38th minute, Teobaldo Lartaun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Urtzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Hori in the 46th minute of play forced San Agustín's goalkeeper Christian Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Urtzi having to interfere. After the first half San Agustín were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arturo Cresitobalo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Lartaun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Urtzi. San Agustín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Lartaun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 56th minute Cristian Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Kuszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincenty Kuszczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Cresitobalo in the 57th minute. San Agustín's Christian Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Lartaun in the 59th minute of play. Cristian Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Wincenty Kuszczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Cresitobalo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wincenty Kuszczak. Wincenty Kuszczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Christian Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Lartaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Christian Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, San Agustín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Barros to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 76 in the game by Anselmo Seguinus from a close distance when the talented Wincenty Kuszczak managed to make a qualified save. Chateaubriand's players were relieved. Wincenty Kuszczak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Seguinus went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doctor Alban in the 84th minute of play forced Chateaubriand's goalkeeper Wincenty Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Hori might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Urtzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Hori ran back to his position shaking his head. After 90 played minutes San Agustín got a freekick which was hit by Doctor Alban. Constantino Banegas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Urtzi. San Agustín's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Adrian Janpier fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
