In the 12th match minute, San Agustín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Barros to maneuver through the defense. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for San Agustín! Christian Urtzi had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Ciro Orlondo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Sporting Cock's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Gamus came free, but Damiano Santucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Anselmo Seguinus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damiano Santucci came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Gamus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Cresitobalo to strike the kick off in the second half. Sporting Cock's Damiano Santucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Cresitobalo in the 53rd minute of play. Eustacio Teodor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Urtzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The Sporting Cock fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Sporting Cock's Eustacio Teodor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 63 minutes into the match, Arturo Cresitobalo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Santucci. Sporting Cock's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Cresitobalo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 69 minutes into the match, Sporting Cock's Eustacio Teodor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Urtzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diego Turi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. San Agustín were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
