Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustacio Teodor to make the kick off. Ciro Orlondo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Pelagius. Marcial Pelagius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Eustacio Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Pelagius having to interfere. In the 59th minute Eustacio Teodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Eloy Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Cock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Remir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcial Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Teodor in the 74th minute of play. Cristian Bakar might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Santucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Bakar ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jonas Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Frontera's zone, Maximo Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Pelagius came out of the goal and Maximo Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Teodor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marcial Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Teodor struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Marcial Pelagius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Cock.
