Though ot was a great shot Torrente's keeper Odilón De la Barra was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Odilón De la Barra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Naike struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Gonzalo Urki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrente. Odilón De la Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gonzalo Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulián Amezqueta in the 21st minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Iraido made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Torrente's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Corderro came free, but Odilón De la Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Defensores Del Cerro getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Feliberto Cortez hit a great ball. Xulián Amezqueta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Torrente's Samuel Unax was substituted for Xulián Amezqueta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Unax got free with Gonzalo Urki in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonzalo Urki made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Samuel Unax sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 92 minutes, Elpidio Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torrente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Torrente's Samuel Unax in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defensores Del Cerro's goalie prevented a goal. Torrente played a much better game than Defensores Del Cerro and deserved their victory. The Defensores Del Cerro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
