Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Despot Hodak started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Rio de la Plata FC booed when Carbonero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Despot Hodak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Despot Hodak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carbonero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Despot Hodak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Alberto Johans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Denis Belmiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Despot Hodak in the 10th minute of play forced Rio de la Plata FC's goalkeeper Denis Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Serapio during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sixto Serapio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Leonides Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 19 minutes, Despot Hodak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carbonero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Despot Hodak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Belmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Despot Hodak in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Rio de la Plata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Despot Hodak came free, but Denis Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Despot Hodak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carbonero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Denis Belmiro came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Carbonero FC's Alberto Johans. But to his dismay, Alberto Johans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When Carbonero FC's Despot Hodak in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rio de la Plata FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Anibal Tino came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rio de la Plata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Tino couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Rio de la Plata FC's zone, Despot Hodak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Belmiro came out of the goal and Despot Hodak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Despot Hodak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Denis Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despot Hodak in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Denis Belmiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Despot Hodak succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 57th playminute. Sixto Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rio de la Plata FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Carlos Urdin hit a great ball. With his leg Denis Belmiro managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Carbonero FC's Despot Hodak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Despot Hodak got free with Denis Belmiro in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Despot Hodak put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Denis Belmiro. Despot Hodaks short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Denis Belmiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guadalupe Bolden in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Denis Belmiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 80 minutes in the game, Alberto Johans fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Denis Belmiro having to interfere. A collision led to Carbonero FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Alberto Johans hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Rio de la Plata FC's Anibal Tino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Luiz Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carbonero FC's André Luiz Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Asier in the 87th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Lorien during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Carbonero FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Anibal Lorien hit a great ball. André Luiz Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Arano in the 93rd minute of the match. Denis Belmiro was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Alberto Johans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Johans really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. Carbonero FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
