The supporters of La Carpatilla FC booed when Rio de la Plata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Rexino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Gervasio Quiroga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rio de la Plata FC's Denis Belmiro didn't even have to move. 23 minutes into the match, La Carpatilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Arano came free, but Jonas Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The coaching staff of Rio de la Plata FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guillermo Behe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Herminio Furman's late challenge caught a Rio de la Plata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Niguel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Marcelo Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio de la Plata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Asier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 minutes of play, Rio de la Plata FC's Marcelo Asier made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Lico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rio de la Plata FC's Marcelo Asier got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 76 minutes, Amador Ederono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 79th minute, La Carpatilla FC's Carolo Guillelmus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Anibal Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio de la Plata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Tino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Lico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rio de la Plata FC's Amador Ederono got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amador Ederono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Lico having to make a save. Marcelo Asier might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Lico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Asier ran back to his position shaking his head. Amador Ederono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Lico having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, Marcelo Asier notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of La Carpatilla FC's Jonas Lico. Jonas Lico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The La Carpatilla FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rio de la Plata FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
