Nestor Telesforo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Gonzalo Urki made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Humberto Sesuldo sent off a good shot on target.

In the 95th minute Humberto Sesuldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Urki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Corderro got free with Aquiles Soin in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Defensores Del Cerro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
