Carolo Guillelmus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Veljko Měšťan made a huge save. After having played for 12 minutes, Bernardino Niguel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Carpatilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Niguel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Poz in the 14th minute of play. Luciano Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the La Carpatilla FC defense, Gualterio Poz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Lico. The La Carpatilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Lico should have stopped the shot. A collision led to La Carpatilla FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Domingo Mirande hit a great ball. Jonas Lico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonides Arce's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Luciano Otsoko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jonas Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Otsoko struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jonas Lico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ranqueles AFC. Honorio Abajas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Lico. La Carpatilla FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 36 played minutes La Carpatilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Peli. With a little luck, Ranqueles AFC's Veljko Měšťan got control of the ball when Carolo Guillelmus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualterio Poz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Leonides Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranqueles AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Lico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Lico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Poz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardino Niguel to strike the kick off in the second half. Gualterio Poz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 56th minute Leonides Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Lico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Carpatilla FC's Abel Cristofor got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jonas Lico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Arce in the 58th minute. Honorio Abajas's shot from long distance in the 61st minute was not bad at all, but La Carpatilla FC's Jonas Lico knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. A collision led to La Carpatilla FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Teobaldo Peli hit a great ball. A hard shot by Honorio Abajas from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Jonas Lico's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Luciano Otsoko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Domingo Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Daniel Koldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Lico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonas Lico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Arce in the 71st minute of the match. Luciano Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonides Arce kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Lico. That made the score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. If Luciano Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gualterio Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Lico having to interfere. Jonas Lico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Luciano Otsoko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Lico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ranqueles AFC played a much better game than La Carpatilla FC and deserved their victory. The La Carpatilla FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
