The audience was convinced that Benedicto Barto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Amor was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Quilaquina got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Galo. Benedicto Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Benedicto Barto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgard de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sebastian Marcones charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Marcones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eriberto Geleberto came out of the goal and Oscar Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mecanica jorge's Eriberto Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Cresconio in the 57th minute of play. Cleto Amor came out of the goal and Benedicto Barto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Sal in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Timoteo Cresconio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mecanica jorge's Eriberto Geleberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Quilaquina's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Barto came free, but Cleto Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Quilaquina's zone, Luisito Ramond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Amor came out of the goal and Luisito Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Quilaquina booed when Mecanica jorge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Llope didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Edgard de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleto Amor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Barto's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Eriberto Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Dalmu in the 90th minute of the match.
