The referee showed German Urritz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Pulpera FC got a freekick which was hit by German Urritz. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Astor Oto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 33rd minute Marcos Berdaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Guillelmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Ellande made a kick off. El Huemul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pulpera FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Huemul's Fidel Maxin got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Hector Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pulpera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Ellande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Huemul's Marcos Berdaitz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 58th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. El Huemul's Abelardo Barrionuevo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Maxin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Patricio Guillelmo made a huge save. Fidel Maxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Patricio Guillelmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match, Marcos Berdaitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patricio Guillelmo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 98 minutes into the match, El Huemul's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Manny came free, but Astor Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over El Huemul could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pulpera FC throughout the match.
