Horacio Aballe made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Quentin Hyde sent off a good shot on target. Aquel Que Permanece's Horacio Aballe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Aquel Que Permanece from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute Gaudencio Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Giæver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Cayetano Dimo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Cerilo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Horacio Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quentin Hyde was the one to do the kick off. The corner led Los Funebreros's Everardo Eutor to fire away a dangerous shot which Horacio Aballe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 53rdth minute of the game Quentin Hyde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aquel Que Permanece's Horacio Aballe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquel Que Permanece's Ricardo Cerilo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kevin Giæver. That made the score 0-1 after 57 minutes of play. Aquel Que Permanece's Horacio Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Hyde in the 61st minute of play. After 61 played minutes Los Funebreros got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Eutor. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Licerio in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Aballe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the game, Quentin Hyde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Horacio Aballe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Aquel Que Permanece booed when Los Funebreros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Mantzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Nicanor Ezkerra fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aquel Que Permanece's protests and gave Nicanor Ezkerra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aquel Que Permanece's Nicanor Ezkerra got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gaudencio Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Giæver having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Los Funebreros got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Dimo. The Los Funebreros fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Los Funebreros's Quentin Hyde looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ricardo Cerilo charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Cerilo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Ricardo Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Funebreros's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
