Aureliano Artizar hit a great ball. When Haroldo Avellaneda came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Redentor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Avellaneda couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the game, Redentor FC's Osvaldo Gonzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Guillelmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Pascual Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Ellande in the 34th minute of the match. Osvaldo Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pascual Atarrabi made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rodrigo Manny sent off a good shot on target. The Pulpera FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Redentor FC were winning 0-3.

52 minutes into the match, Pulpera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Marin came free, but Patricio Guillelmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Guillelmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Baudelio in the 54th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Pulpera FC's Hector Ellande made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Atarrabi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 89 played minutes Redentor FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Ruy. Redentor FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
