Maximino Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Abascal in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Cerveceros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. With 22 minutes on the clock, Edgard Peru commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 23rd minute, Edgard Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cavaliere didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Trabajadores Unidos S.C.'s Maximino Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Abascal in the 29th minute of play. The referee showed Valentin Atauri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cerveceros FC booed when Trabajadores Unidos S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cerveceros FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Amancio Ekaitz hit a great ball. Cerveceros FC's Lucio Maidana got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Trabajadores Unidos S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Martinez. After having played for 42 minutes, Carmelo Tello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerveceros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Tello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braulio Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Carmelo Tello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Atauri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trabajadores Unidos S.C.'s goalkeeper Maximino Gonsalve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Pascual Abascal put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Maximino Gonsalve. In the 59th match minute, Trabajadores Unidos S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Tono to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Pascual Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerveceros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Abascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Gonsalve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Artemio Mannuel in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Trabajadores Unidos S.C.'s Luisito Tono. In the 79th minute, Valentin Atauri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cavaliere was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Cerveceros FC's Marcos Cavaliere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Atauri in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Trabajadores Unidos S.C.'s Valentin Atauri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cavaliere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 94th minute Pascual Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
