After having played for 11 minutes, Eusebio Amato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melincué AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Amato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th match minute, SAMCRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lex Staarman to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Guaberto Montae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Melincué AFC booed when SAMCRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Firman in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Montae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Melincué AFC's zone, Lex Staarman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Ereinotz came out of the goal and Lex Staarman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes in the game, Aldo Sancho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Uriel Ereinotz having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Melincué AFC's Guido Firman made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guaberto Montae was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Melincué AFC had played much better football throughout.
