Redentor FC's Gaudencio Pierres suffered a sore foot after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Martinez during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Redentor FC made a substitution. Guillermo Sotero replaced Gaudencio Pierres. The supporters of Redentor FC booed when Trabajadores Unidos S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Avellaneda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximino Gonsalve. 1-3.

In the 55th match minute, Trabajadores Unidos S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Salvator to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Gonsalve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Urki in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Haroldo Avellaneda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximino Gonsalve. That made the score 1-5 in the 64 minute of play. Trabajadores Unidos S.C.'s Maximino Gonsalve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Trabajadores Unidos S.C. from getting a goal against them.
