The Gladiadores lll FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Gladiadores lll FC's Aureliano Fero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernardino Fraco struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Cristo Garikoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gladiadores lll FC. In the 13thth minute of the game Aureliano Fero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coiruro's Cristo Garikoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristo Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Fero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Aureliano Fero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coiruro's Cristo Garikoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evelio Abar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Sanduru in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gladiadores lll FC's goalkeeper Evelio Abar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Coiruro got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Paublo. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores lll FC's zone, Ivan Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Abar came out of the goal and Ivan Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evelio Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Normando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Fero in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Garikoitz saved Coiruro from getting behind. Ivan Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Evelio Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coiruro's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 44th minute of the game, when Marcelino Paublo after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Gladiadores lll FC's goal. Marcelino Paublo was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Antonio Henric hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Normando was the one to do the kick off. Aureliano Fero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Cristo Garikoitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Evelio Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Normando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Fero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cristo Garikoitz made a huge save. Aureliano Fero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Cristo Garikoitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristo Garikoitz stood somewhat misplaced when Aureliano Fero came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 59 minute. Coiruro's Cristo Garikoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Coiruro from getting a goal against them. Victorio Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Normando struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Evelio Abar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coiruro. After having played for 71 minutes, Marcelino Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coiruro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Paublo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Ivan Orlondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coiruro's Cristo Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Fero in the 75th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Gladiadores lll FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Erasto. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores lll FC's zone, Ivan Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Abar came out of the goal and Ivan Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Sanduru fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 84th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 85th match minute, Gladiadores lll FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Bernardino Fraco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelino Paublo got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Gladiadores lll FC booed when Coiruro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Paublo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Aureliano Fero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Garikoitz. Coiruro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Fero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Albano Tercero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Garikoitz having to interfere. The Gladiadores lll FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gladiadores lll FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
