After 45 minutes of play, Argentina's Paulo Mendiko made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 方振威 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Guaberto Oidor made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Oidor to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match OCONNOR got a corner. Argentina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delmar Montrel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on OCONNOR's corner Silvano Rotov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Brandon Mang quite easily take care of the ball. Placido Sustrai kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Mendiko in the 56th minute of play forced OCONNOR's goalkeeper 方振威 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in OCONNOR's zone, Sebastian Quirce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 方振威 came out of the goal and Sebastian Quirce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Mendiko struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. 方振威 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentina. If Sebastian Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. OCONNOR's 张思光 got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Guaberto Oidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 90th match minute, OCONNOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Sustrai to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Argentina's Brandon Mang got control of the ball when 张思光 tried to sneak it across the goal line.
