Las Pelotas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Fero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 21 played minutes Las Pelotas got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Bilintx. Jeremias Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Fero in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Tercero in the 25th minute of play forced Las Pelotas's goalkeeper Jeremias Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Freddy Bilintx took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Evelio Abar to make any attempt to save it. Freddy Bilintx was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. In the 73rd minute Claudio Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Gladiadores lll FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Bilintx came free, but Evelio Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Claudio Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Freddy Bilintx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
