In the 9th minute, Pastor Salvator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th match minute, Guardia Alta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Račko to maneuver through the defense. Albano Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Namık Kemal Candar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guardia Alta FC's Namık Kemal Candar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Ponciano in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Vinicio Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Namık Kemal Candar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Lesardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Salvator went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Namık Kemal Candar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Marquez in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Pastor Salvator managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guardia Alta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Salvator was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Guardia Alta FC booed when Hrvatska Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Lapurdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Siro Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isidoro Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hrvatska Deportivo's zone, Siro Oliverio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Lesardo came out of the goal and Siro Oliverio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Oliverio to strike the kick off in the second half. Pastor Salvator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Astor Lesardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arturo Frechoso fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hrvatska Deportivo's protests and gave Arturo Frechoso a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Hrvatska Deportivo got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Elia. It was beautiful to see Guardia Alta FC's Rogelio Dantel in action when he in the 58th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Astor Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Pabla in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Siro Oliverio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Omar Pabla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Diego Blasco in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Guardia Alta FC's Julian Derwin. Rogelio Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Astor Lesardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Marquez in the 79th minute of play forced Guardia Alta FC's goalkeeper Namık Kemal Candar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Lesardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Pastor Salvator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astor Lesardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Salvator's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
