A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marco Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceferino Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Felix Celipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Raul Berdaitz managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Deportivo Residentes's Domingo Tolino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot by Dario Odon from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Raul Berdaitz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. HaWkS BlAck's Felix Celipe got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ariel Mel hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Samuel Martxot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Berdaitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45th match minute, HaWkS BlAck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Birjaio made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Deportivo Residentes's Edgard Birjaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Berdaitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, HaWkS BlAck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Marquez to maneuver through the defense. If Domingo Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Tolino struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Raul Berdaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Residentes. Raul Berdaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Birjaio in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Berdaitz saved HaWkS BlAck from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Edgard Birjaio made a precise shot to the right of Raul Berdaitz. HaWkS BlAck's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Edgard Birjaio struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Raul Berdaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Residentes. Raul Berdaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Birjaio's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When Domingo Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Deportivo Residentes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Tolino couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, HaWkS BlAck's Marciano Marquez got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 85 minutes, Marco Beturian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HaWkS BlAck and the Deportivo Residentes players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Birjaio in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Berdaitz saved HaWkS BlAck from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Celipe got free with Ceferino Gustau in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
