Shurima FC's attentive Alvaro Bemabe managed to snatch the ball when Jonatan Otoniel made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Leopoldo Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marciano Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Liberto came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Chapanay F.c's Marciano Gartzea. But to his dismay, Marciano Gartzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Shurima FC's Modesto Bonifaco got a free kick in the 36th minute. Shurima FC's Eloy Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Gartzea in the 41st minute of play. When Jonatan Otoniel fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapanay F.c's protests and gave Jonatan Otoniel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Shurima FC booed when Chapanay F.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Otoniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Eguntsenti was the one to do the kick off. Chapanay F.c's Marciano Gartzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Rexino in the 54th minute of play. Marciano Gartzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Liberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Eguntsenti, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Leopoldo Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Gartzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Liberto having to interfere. Shurima FC's Alvaro Bemabe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fulgencio Idacio, made in the 76th minute of the game. Jonatan Otoniel made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fulgencio Idacio. 80 minutes into the match, Shurima FC's goalkeeper Eloy Liberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Gartzea. Alvaro Bemabe hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Shurima FC's Victorino Endira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucio Oxarra, made in the 86th minute of the game. Marciano Gartzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Mero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Edgard Rexino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shurima FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. During the 95th minute of the match Modesto Bonifaco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Modesto Bonifaco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 95 played minutes Shurima FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Bonifaco. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
